1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScanToCAD ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

ScanToCAD is a software-as-a-service platform that converts 3D point cloud scans (PLY files) into 2D CAD floor plans (DXF files). The service is provided through a web-based interface and automated processing backend.

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload malicious files or content that could harm our systems
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Upload files that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights

5. File Processing and Data

By uploading files to our Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service. We do not claim ownership of your files and will not use them for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Processed files are automatically deleted from our systems after 30 days. You are responsible for downloading your converted files within this timeframe.

6. Payment Terms

Our Service operates on a subscription basis. Payment is due in advance for each billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues beyond our control.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ScanToCAD and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ScanToCAD be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
